HHS Cell Phone Policy changes are coming for 2019-2020
POTENTIAL WORDING of CELLPHONE POLICY for 2019-2020
Cell phones must be turned off completely and out of sight after the first bell at 7:40 a.m. and must remain out of sight throughout the school day until the last bell at 3:45 p.m. (exceptions: breakfast (8:50-9:10) and lunch (12:15-12:35)). If a student brings a cell phone to school, it is the student’s responsibility to keep the item turned off and secure. The school will not be responsible for cell phones and or other electronic devices that are damaged, lost, or stolen. Students will be allowed to use the student office phone between classes to make calls as needed.
Consequences for cell phone violations are yet to be determined.
Congratulations to 2019 HHS Teacher of the Year!
