COVID-19 Alert (updated 8:00pm on 7/31/2020)
We recommend that anyone who suspects he or she has COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 seek medical attention. None of our recommendations are intended to take the place of medical advice.
Three people who were at the Hugo Fieldhouse have tested positive for the virus. These people are in quarantine. The fieldhouse has been shut down.
For Hugo Schools Employees – Out of an abundance of caution, if you were in close contact with others (within six feet for fifteen minutes or longer) at the fieldhouse within the past ten days, do not report to school until August 10, 2020 if you remain fever and symptom free. Also, if you live in the same household as someone who has tested positive, do not report to school until August 10, 2020 if you remain fever and symptom free. If you were exposed at the fieldhouse and have received a negative test for the virus three days after exposure, please attend in-service beginning on August 3, 2020. Please contact your supervisor to let him or her know if you will not be able to attend our in-service due to exposure to the virus. You may be required to attend training via Zoom if possible.
For Students and Others – If you were in close contact with others (within six feet for fifteen minutes or longer) at the fieldhouse in the past ten days, seek medical advice. Please take all necessary precautions to avoid exposing others to the virus.
We recommend the rapid test for those who have a fever and/or symptoms of COVID-19.
