Hugo High School Library Legends Reading Program
YOU MUST SIGN IN AND TAKE TESTS IN THE HHS LIBRARY
IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR ALL READING REWARDS

All students that pass a Reading Counts quiz will receive a prize from the Snack Bucket. In order to receive the prize, students must show the librarian they have passed the quiz. Only one prize will be rewarded daily to each individual student. Books read must be on an appropriate reading level for each individual student.

- Popcorn Party to include popcorn and a drink. Must earn at least 10 points per month. (Date, time, and place to be announced at the end of the month) Students must take the test in the library and sign in with Ms. Plott

For every 10 quizzes a student passes, they will receive a free lunch from the restaurant of their choice (excludes Romas). Also there will be no Ice Cream
Top 12 readers per month receive a taco bell certificate for a free taco or burrito

- Reading Reward Trip - Students must earn 110 points and have no major discipline issues during the course of the school year. (Points must be accumulated monthly throughout the year.
- The highest Reader from each grade will be awarded a $100 shopping spree at Wal-mart
- For ALL READERS: anyone passing a quiz during the 2026-2027 school year automatically has their name in the end of the year drawing for a prize. (this excludes the top reader from each grade that was awarded the $100 shopping spree)
